Football Genius (Reviewed by Daniel.)

Football Genius

Tim Green

Football Genius is fantastic! Troy has a priceless talent…he can predict plays. And he can do it in seconds flat. But troy gets in trouble with his mom and security guards and it threatens to get his mom fired.

The Falcons aren’t winning and Troy is doing everything he can to help turn their season around. Football genius is realistic fiction because it’s made up and this possibly could have happened. If Troy keeps getting in trouble, his mom won’t have a job.

Once you pick up Football Genius you can’t put it down. There is a lot of excitement. For example there are constant problems and tons of heart pounding moments. I recommend this book to 3rd through 5th graders because you need to understand it and the vocabulary is not too hard; for example there are words like rubble or spattered. The book is like an unknown area and things just happen.

I would recommend Football Genius to anyone who likes football or sports. Football Genius was exciting because things keep getting worse like when his mom figured out Troy stole something. Football Genius is also very action-packed because one moment Troy is on the field and then next he’s being chased by security guards. Read Football Genius to see if the Falcons get better and if Troy’s mom gets fired or not!
