Warriors into the Wild (Author: Nate)

Book Report Nate

10/18/10

Do you believe in the Warrior Code? Warriors into the Wild, the first of 21 books in the epic Warriors series, is an amazing tale of cat characters that follow the Warrior Code when they fight for territory. The clans of cats fight, hunt, have adventures, and well, struggle to survive! For example, Yellowfang, elder she-cat of the ThunderClan, must fight against her own son so that one of their warring clans will eat.

If there were a Warriors movie, I’d definitely be in line for it! Erin Hunter is a great, one out of a million, writer. She often creates a light, cheery mood. For example, the cats are always cheerful when they’re talking to others in their clans.

Erin Hunter has some fantastic vocabulary. She uses words like mewed, apprentice, scrawny and two-legs. Scrawny is a good descriptive word meaning skinny. Two-legs is her funny word that the cats use for humans.

I would recommend this book series to fans of action and adventure because it has lots of fights and they wonder the lands a lot. In fact, I love this first book so much I’m looking forward to reading the next one! I hope the rest of the series is as good, if not better, than this exciting book.
