Eclipse (Reviewed by Bidisha)

Eclipse

By Stephanie Meyer

“ It was after dark when we reached the house. In spite of that, the meadow was bright in the light shining from every window.”

Get ready for the 3rd book of the Twilight series to spring into action!!! Victoria is back, now looking for revenge on the Cullen family by killing Bella, but Edward won’t let that happen, so she makes an army of newborn vamires. In this book there is a special question that bonds Edward and Bella together. If you want to know what the question is, you have to read the book!!! This book is Fantasy Fiction because it has characters and events that can’t exist in real life.

A strength is that the story is suspenseful. For example, I could read this book forever and not stop. Another strength is that the book has strong vocabulary like optimistic and metallic. I had to look in the dictionary a couple of times but it was worth it. A weakness is that this book had curse words like hell. I was disgusted with that. Another weakness is that the book had inappropriate stuff like marriage. I was disgusted with that too.

I recommend this book to 10 year olds to old people. 10 year olds can read this book because they are old enough.Old people were ready for this book 20-30-40 years ago. No offense old people. Oops I forgot, the book wasn’t out then. I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. Stephenie Meyer really gets things going.
