Kingdom Keepers (Reviewed by James)

Kingdom Keepers

“She is glowing like a D.H.I. But she is not a D.H.I.”

Kingdom Keepers II by Ridley Pearson is a science fiction book because people cannot turn into holograms by pushing their fear away. This story is about Finn, Maybeck, Charlene, Philby, Amanda and Jez. These characters would like to be regular people. But the evil Maleficent steals the D.H.I. machine and clones it. So they find the machine and destroy it.

A strength of this book is that it is very action packed. For example, Finn and Jez are stuck inside an enclosure with tigers, monkeys and orangutans that try to attack them. Another strength of this book is that there are many interesting vocabulary words that make you sound smarter like Mr. Vaid does. For example, they have words like encrypted, geometrically, apprehensive, pterodactyl, quill, prehistoric, majestically, and prowling.

I recommend this book to ages 8 through 12 because there is very difficult vocabulary in the text. I give this book 26 out of 5 stars because it was so action packed. Every other paragraph had something action filled. For example, Amanda and Jez are on the ride Expedition Everest and the ride goes haywire. READ THIS BOOK!
